My duckies started to wiggle a day and a half ago, and still no pips!!

I mean REALLY!!!! How long does it take for them to pip after they start to wiggle?? I'm watching them like a hawk!

Don't worry though I'm being a good girl and not opening the bator unless I need to mist again if the humidity goes down a little.

Kudoes! I think not opening the bator is the hardest part of the hatch.

It does in fact seem to take FOREVER. I can't speak for chicken eggs, but with ducks, the hatch can go on for DAYS. From first sound of cheeping to first pip was two days, and one didn't pip for another two days. From pip to zip was another two days. Once they zip, it goes pretty quick. But MAN it seems to take forever.

It is SO worth it though.

My eggs wiggled for 2-3 days and now 36hrs after the first pip I have a duckling, so it takes a lot of waiting lol good luck!

I feel for you! It seems like these weeks are just the slowest ever and I am not even to the lockdown part.

I just want to reach my hands in there and and say "Ok you must be ready! Time to be born!" But I know they have to do it on their own. I'm ready for fuzzy booties already! *sigh* Atlest they are hatching while my husbands on vaca. that way he gets to see it too.

I'm worried I may loose my duckies. It's been 2 and a half days since they started to wiggle. Still no pips and I'm on day 28 now. I think one may have died! I cant see any movement! What do I do???

Mine wiggled for a week before it hatched. So, don't worry they take forever!
