In my bathroom! Just across the hall from my bedroom!
I still have some of my smaller chicks, and my younger chicks in the bathroom, and this morning when my daughter got up to let out the dogs, I heard this strange noise coming from the bathroom. It sounded kind of like a little girl choking and wheezing, it was funny. Once she had the dogs out, she went and stood outside the bathroom door and listened til he did it again. And he did. Then she went into the bathroom and everyone shut up real fast, so we aren't 100% sure who did the crowing. It was either my Sebright boy Pip (the most likely suspect), or possibly the Mystery Barred chick I got from lilchick, or the Jersey Giant chick, cause we aren't 100% sure either of those are girls. There is a remote chance it could have been my OEGB baby Pepsi, but I still think it's Pip. I didn't expect any of my birds to start crowing yet. Pip will be 7 weeks on Tuesday. Is that the right time frame, or is he too young? Do certain breeds crow earlier than others? Cause, my backyard is going to get REALLY loud REALLY soon if they start crowing at only 7 weeks...
