OMG OMG OMG I have an internal Pip!

I just checked the eggs and the second one I picked up has pipped!! I put it back and shut the incubator!!
I'm so excited and scared and afraid to be too excited and yay!
fyi I will lose my mind before this is over!
anyone else hatching today or here to keep me sane?? Please please!

lol, breathe! i just went thru all that a couple of weeks ago for the first time and OMG..... thats all i can say! keep busy....don't open the incubator but be sure to watch them and if they don't pip in the 48 hours...make them a safe hole....lacrystol really helped me and miss lydia....i would've lost it if not for those two....stay on the hatch day thread and call ducks finally hatched thread.....lots of support there!

Went to my mom's and got the 2 bantum hens she's been trying to get me to take for months now. We have two bantum roosters.
Keep peeking in the incubator window like there'll be something to see, i don't know why.
Told everyone about my pip.
You're soo right about the support here. I've seen Miss Lydia's advice. One smart woman with a hint of humor. I like her!
I didn't even know about an internal pip before coming here. I just knew they made that little hole in the shell.
I am totally freaking out.
The last duck I hatched was a first egg of the year, new incubator the same day, never really watched it, til I heard peeping and yelling at 7pm the day before it was due. That's Mr. Magoo, the little girl in my profile pic.
I'm rambling cause I don't know if I've mentioned but I'm totally freaking out!!
I've read so many things that can go wrong with call ducks.

you sound so much like someone else on here a couple weeks ago, angiert

you'll be fine just don't open the bator you want high humidity and Lacrystol she can be your support with these call babies if she is available. I'll be checking in to see how it's going but try not to pull all your hair out at once because this could take a couple of days.

I just want them to be okay and happy and out of the eggs!

I don't know how I ever was able to be pregnant for 9 months. I'm not doing so well with waiting even a day or two!
I think they all should have just hatched while I was sleeping

How do you delete a post?
Mine keep double posting. I only know how to edit so I do this

I am not computer knowledgeable I have to contact a mod and ask for them to delete it for me. use the red flag. or just ignore it. I don't even know how I got the double post on my response either.

Well at least hair and nails grow back, and yep that would be nice if you wake up in the morning and all have hatched and are smiling up at you. Without teeth though that would be scary.

I have 4 lil ones right now with mama duck and I still worry about them, it's the mama in us. You'll be fine just keep us updated on progress.

Oh I know that feeling, last year our guinea hen decided to set on 10 eggs at the edge of the woods in the bushes. We put a pen around her with a cover to protect her and she and hatched out 9! I was frantic something was going to eat them all!

Update: I have managed to leave them alone....I'm amazed! It's killing me though!
