but want to hear what people think
will they hold like 8 hens and a rooster ?

No, they will absolutely tear up your hens backs, unless u get a bantam roo with full size hens.

I haven't ordered their prefab coop, I want their auto door. If you look at the pictures the door is about 1' high. For standard sized hens they need about 4sqft each inside, and needing more outside room during the day. Personally from the look of the pictures I wouldn't put more than 4 standard size hens in there.
