Onagadori Available?

Does anyone have any Onagadori Chicks / Egg's Available , I Have searched the few sources I could Find, and most of them seem a little dated.

The difference between a Phoenix and おながどり is that the Phoenix roos' tails may molt. If you get a Phoenix that doesn't lose its sickles or saddle feathers, and they grow to extreme lengths, you may be lucky.

To grow such long sickles, birds have to have the non-molting gene AND they have to have extremely special care. You can learn more here:

I have Onagadoris, they are not laying yet. Mine molt every other year. My roos get tails on them that are over 3 feet long. I wish my hens had longer tails. Hit me up this spring and I'll sell ya some eggs...................
 
Awesome! thanks guy's, Im Looking forward to owning Some Show Quality Chickens! I will be researching them extensively. I hope they arent too heavy in the pocket book area.

I have been raising phoenix with nonmolting genes for 20 or so years.. They do exist here in America, though they do not go by the name Onagadori, which means "longtail fowl." They do however go by the name, American Longtail Fowl..
