One duckling hatched, looks like 6 more to go...

I'm so excited. The Duck eggs are rocking and get so active when I talk to them! The chicken eggs are wiggling a bit, but not nearly the activity levels of the ducks. Out of 17 ducks it looks like 6-7 are doing really well. I didnt expect many in this first set to be fertile. I have been collecting from the calls and my heavies the past week and have about 17 more duck eggs to go in when the guinea eggs come next week

I dont want to leave for work on Friday!

Thanks! Its only my second time using my bator. Had a 92% success rate first time around, I already know its lower this time, but still some is better than none!

THey arent due till tomorrow, but we have one with a pip who was peeping when we got home last night! He hasnt progressed much, but he is busy rocking and peeping. Humidity is 90% and temp is fluctuating 100-101.... I'm so anxious.

One came out around 2:00 a.m.! Definitely offspring of my beloved deceased Saxony drake. Its a blue fawn. DH was all grumpy and in a hurry this morning so I didnt take pics, SORRY!!!!
