Hi, has anybody had this happen? We were expecting a hatch this Saturday, and I just heard peeping from the henhouse -- one chick is hatched! This is my first time hatching eggs with a broody chicken.
Backstory: We got 6 eggs from an amateur breeder on -- he got 2 from the coop and 4 from in the house -- maybe they're at different stages of development? We bought them and put them under our broody on April 9. Anyhow my concern is whether the broody will keep sitting on the remaining eggs and hatch them.
