one hen not laying yet¿

I have three hens that just started layin(so I thought)! two are BO and they are the same age one isnt laying. should I be concerned ? her comb is smaller than the other two . she was a tad bit smaller than her sister so maybe thats the reason? not sure ! what do you think?

My smalles started laying a week after the other two, so I wouldn't worry. Her first egg was huge, too: what a surprise!

I have the exact same thing happening and a week later nothing yet. you took the words out of my mouth. I was just waiting and let time take its' course.

I thought I was getting 4 a day from 4 ladies , but no three a day ! I guess she is a runt lol!

oh does it mean anything bad if their combs are floppy? or is it natural?

floppy and big combs are good signs for an excellent layer! Most likely the one that isn't laying is bottom of the pecking order although you might oughta check and see if an eggs stuck in there...

the one that isnt laying has a little comb! the other three are big (appropriate size ) and beautiful!

ugh check for a stuck egg! not quiet sure about that! ill see what I can do! will she act weird if its stuck?

most likely she'll walk kinda funny... yeah, checking for stuck eggs is pretty gross.

well I think im safe on that! she walks fine! oh one more question! do you think my mama hen will go broody again with the ladies in their with her? they kinda bully her in a gentle way. never pecking just run her around ! or should I take her out and put eggs in a nest box eberyday plus hers till she starts sitting? I want more babies ! call me crazy!,

If you want your hen to go broody, just isolate her from the rest and put some fake eggs in the nest box... that usually does it! when she starts picking her feathers, you know it's a good sign!
