this morning i checked on the one that was running late (today would have ben day 24) it was dead in the shell. it was a pure RIR. never pipped internally.
i checked on one that was on day 22 today (RIR SILKIE mix) and it was internally pipped at 8pm tonight. now how long can they live once they pip internally? is that when the yoke and veins start injesting? i have 5 more RIRs and 1 RIR Silkie mix that just went into lockdown. i candeled them and they all are still alive. also have 2 more RIRs that go into lockdown this week. thanks for all the help and info this site and you people have provided. right now my humidity is at 80% and temp is at 100 in a still air incubator. i heard they can only live 24 hrs after the internal pip just wondering if we could conferm that.
