One loves me, the others are scared?

I have 16 about a month or a month and a half old chicks and I only have one that will come up to me and she is a BR hen. She loves to sit in my hands or on my arm. What about the other ones? I have 7 RIR's and a roo. & I have 9 BR's and a roo. How do I get them to like me. Everytime I go into the coop, the run. When I pick them up they squal. What to do?! Thanks

Same here, my RIR was very friendly right off the bat, would run to me as soon as she saw me. My EE and SLW took more time to warm up, but at 3 weeks I've gotten them to all climb onto my hand when I present them with treats. The RIR and EE will now fly onto my arm as soon as I put it in the brooder, I think they like being higher up so they can check things out. My SLW is the shyest and still shrieks whenever I move toward her too quickly. So far, hand feeding treats seems to be a good way to go. Also, I talk to them all the time so they know my voice.
