One of my babies broke their beak....

My babies were all leaving the coop for the first time, and one fell off the ramp, and broke the top, tip off his/ her beak. This was a couple weeks ago, but this little chicky, newly named Bubba Gump seemed fine.

Today, I couldn't find my Bubba Gump amungst the rest of my babies.
Do the beaks grow back/ or repair themselves?

sometimes. it depends on how badly its broken.

Yes, they can grow back. As long as it wasn't bleeding when it first broke, it probably wasn't injured badly enough to not grow back. I have a cochin that must have knocked herself on something because her beak had a small crack in it (the tip eventually broke off). It's since grown back.

Well thats good to know. It wasn't a bad break, there was no blood at all. Thank goodness, now Bubba Gump needs a new name....again....heehee
