One of my buffs is missing ... hmmmm

It appears one of my nine birds is missing. too much snow for it to go far. no animal tracks. i suspect it is a hawk or eagle. oh, well, I new it would happen some day. From Michigan.
 
Could have been a great horned owl. They will hunt at dawn and dusk.
