One of my chicks did the cutest thing!

Okay, bear with me... remember, I'm new.

I let one of my girls, a 3 week old Speckled Sussex outside today and set her on the ground. I squated down with her and then she turned her body around to face me, squated herself down, started doing this little shaking thing and then flew up onto my shoulder and started walking around on my back. My boyfriend was outside doing something but just happened to catch the whole thing and started gushing. I know this happens to you guys all the time but it was the first for me/us and we just loved it!

Just wanted to share.

Chickens will do the funniest, stupidest, silliest, and cutest things! LOL! Today on of my chickens was hopping down the deck stairs and got it's toe under her on the last step and did a face plant right into the grass....LOL.... She got up, shook her feathers out and looked aroung like..."Nobody saw that right?"
