Hi there! My name is Michelle, from Portland Oregon, and I'm new to the backyard chicken thing. We have 5 hens & 2 new baby chicks, and we love them all so much.
Our newest adventure in chickenland is having our sweet salmon favorelle hatch 2
golf balls into a baby Delaware and an Australorp. The chicks are almost 1 month old and as of now, the babies and mom are separated from the others. They have all hung out in the yard together and they have eaten snacks together...so far no problem. When would it be ok to put them all in the same run or hen house?

I agree with Liz, you never know how the other birds will regard the babies - I wouldn't chance it yet. What a beautiful broody mama you Salmon favorolles is. I bet she was surprised to hatch golf balls too.
