One of our ladies is laying under the roost at night - help

Hello,

For the past three nights one of our hens does not get on the roost with her other 6 sisters.
She lays under the roost.

We have been picking her up and putting her on. She will stay the night there then.

We have not seen any pecking and she does not appear injured or ill unless we are missing something?

Help please!

I'm assuming from your post that she normally does get on the roost with the other hens?

The first thing i would probably check is the bottom of her feet. She may have bumble foot. Look for a round black scab and/or swelling.

Is she acting normally other than this? Good appetite? Active during the day? Pooping normally?
