Trust me when I say I'll be keeping a close eye on everyone, I'm really only worried about them as chicks. More than anything I think my dogs/cats are more likely to get beat up by the birds when they are adults. Chicks are probably going to end up in the old rabbit hutch with DIY cardboard siding to keep them safe from the cats. The dogs are simply not allowed in the basement. Now keeping them away from my nieces and nephews is likely to be the real problem.
