One of the Welsh Harlequins is laying!!!

Got my usual Chrissy egg (runner), an Uno egg (khaki/buff mutt). Hers are slightly tan and are getting bigger all the time. But there was ONE MORE in the run! That means one of the Welsh Harlequin girls is laying!!!!

I asked who laid it, but I couldn't get any of them to own up.

I'm jealous once again...mine should lay anytime now! And I'm really sad because my dad is making me sell all my ducks, except the BEI'S this weekend at an exotic animal auction...i am going to miss them, i just hope i can get at least one egg from the ducks i raised from babies

4 1/2 months??? That are 4 weeks younger than Uno. She started laying at 5 months exactly.

I go out every morning hoping for an egg but my ducks haven't laid for weeks now, I just can't figure it out.

YAY!!!! Im so happy for you wifezilla!! But im also really jealous! Your gals need ot hav a talk with mine. Out of the 7 mature girls only two seem to want to give me some love! ( eggs )

Yay wifezilla! Mine will not own up to laying either and I have yet to catch anyone laying but the egg mysteriously appears. LOL

Congrats!!

One of mine started laying a few days ago (one egg for 2 days in a row, then nothing for the last 3 days). I have no idea which duck is laying - I have Khakis and WH. They were hatched May 11.

It's very exciting, and they tasted very good too!
