One Rooster....Different Feed?!

Probably a dumb newbie question but here goes!

We have 8 pullets and one rooster. We will switch them to layer feed and offer oyster shell as soon as the first egg appears or 20 weeks, whichever happens first. Do we have to feed something else to the rooster or is it ok for him to eat the layer feed and oyster shell?

anything will be fine for the rooster, mine eats layer mix just like all the hens.
