One week old chick dead in nest

This is only the second time we’ve hatched a clutch. First time, 4 chicks successful to adulthood. This time, same broody hen, 100% hatch, 8 chicks. This morning I found a chick dead in the crate. It was flat on its back, no sign of injury. Can chicks be suffocated or do I need to worry about an illness? All of them were vigorous and healthy-appearing

Possibly just something wrong with it internally..Sometimes these things happen and we never know why?
