Help, my one year old Narragansett turkey is missing his chest feathers!

We have two hens and one tommy. They are locked up at night for protection and let out to roam and forage on our farm all day. This past two weeks we've noticed our tom is missing all the feathers on his chest! He's beautiful otherwise and displays all the charteristics of a great turkey. He's covering his ladies and giving us fertile eggs to incubate, but we can't figure out whats up with his chest... he's only one, could he be molting already? He just reached maturity...

Any ideas are very welcome. Thanks

Mine is molting up a storm...this is the time that they molt in my flock...so my Tommy is dropping huge feathers all over...they will grow back! Check him over to be sure everything is ok otherwise, and that he is eating...but it sounds like the molt to me...;-)

Thanks for the advice! It helps to get some input
