Only 1 chicken hatched, now what ?

Hi ,

We got a little orphington thats a week old from a batch of eggs that only hatched 1 egg.

I have my own batch in the bator but only one egg was good!!

Mine will hatch in a week...


Ive heard that there isa risk of the chickies not surviving if they are alone ?

Is there anything I need to think about when raising a chick on her own?

when my new chick hatches can I put it in the brooder with my 2 week old chick?

If these questions are obvious Im sorry ..

I really have no idea.

I put a little vanity mirror on the wall in the brooder forthe chick thats in there..

She has gotten her days and night all mixed up and sleeps during the day and cries at night ;(

any help would be appriciated.
