I was thinkig that my Marans lay dark eggs but when I recived her eggs realized what is all about.They are so big and dark.Thank you ONTHESPOT for the nice eggs and service

You are welcome! I was worried when I sent them that they were too small and too light! They are just starting back from being off for moulting and they will lay better eggs later on. Yesterday I found my splash girl in the nest box, so she is likely the mama of a couple of your eggs. Not sure which exact egg she laid though, as there were other eggs in there too. Since the roo is blue, and all the other hens are black, anything that hatches out splash will definitely be from her. She is so friendly and sweet! I hope you get babies from her! Here is a pic of her from several weeks ago.
