Oooh Oooh Oooh we are new!

We are new to chickens and first got our new little babies March 21st when they were three days old.

We have eighteen chickens and three ducks
Ducks - Aflac, Bella and Baby legs
Chickens - 3 Barred Rock
- 3 Americanas; 2 Hens Curly, Bianca & 1 very handsome
Roo called Pabey
- 4 Rhode Island Reds - Sweet chicks
- 8 Buff Orpingtons, Angles, Esme, Alice, Rosalee & ladies

We have been surfing BYC for answers to many of our questions and love this site. We had our first surprise (egg) yesterday WOOT WOOT! and three more beauties today! Had to sign up for BYC to tell the chicken world about our surprise because we were so excited!

One amazing husband, two amazing little boys (Tres chicos) - three dogs- Hannah, Sam and Max , two fish Gracie and Toad, Three beautiful acres - Paradise - Lots of wildlife!

I have ducks and chickens as well! I got some new chicks on April 16th this year and I got my first egg from them two days ago and the second yesterday. I appreciate the THRILL of that first egg, isn't it wonderful! Congratulations and soon you will be swimming in eggs!
