I went to TSC today. I tried really really hard not to buy any more chicks, but they were just so cute! I was able to stick to the minimum of 6. Got 4 from the bantam bin and only 2 from the straight run bin. Does anyone have any idea what breed these might be?

Japanese Bantam? Really tiny with short legs. Name is Happy Feet.

These are two white bantams, but I don't think they are the same breed. Different leg length.

This chick is from the bantam bin. I really have no idea about this one. It has a lavender color with some red mixed in. Very pretty though.

This is a LF, Easter Egger? Has tufts. This chick is the brat of the bunch.

Another LF. Have no idea what breed this is, but it's really cute!!

Couple more pics. In the group pic you can see the colors much better on the multi-colored chicks. Thanks for any info.

That particular chick really does seem to be the brat. All the other chicks are trying to sleep and it's wide awake running around pulling at their little wings and toes. I think it has a hyperactivity disorder. LOL

Every morning when I'm out before work going from pen to pen (I have four with adults) I think to myself "no more chickens, no more chickens". Yet I have an incubator full and I buy 6 more today. If I could make a living doing this full time, I would. SO MUCH FUN!!

I have that part all figured out (for myself). I currently have a chicken tractor with two blue cochin hens. I can move them to one of my other pens and put my bantams in that. I can always add the two LF to another pen. My significant other says he will not build any more chickens pens for me.

I don't think I can go back to TSC until after May or whenever they stop selling chicks. I seriously can't help myself. I'm a Chicaholic.
