How high up should the nesting box be? - I plan on using DL. Should the roosts be higher than the box? The box will be on the opposite wall from the roosts.

The only thing that really matters with the nesting boxes is that they are lower that the roosts. Otherwise they will be roosting in them.

I put my nesting boxes 1 1/2 to 2 feet off of the ground. Perches, for youngsters, 3'. Adults, 5' or 6'. They use the lowers to work their way to the top & rafters.

Thanks ya'll - nest box is going in at 18" above floor & perches will be higher than that - Coop will be 4' at back and at least 5' to 5'6" in front.
