Oprah was supposed to be a female black star??????

Thanks everyone for the input on his breed. I will have to have my son take another picture to include his feet. I'll have him take one of his brother, Seven -- he isn't as noisy nor as pretty.

So when are you gonna take a ride over here and learn how to process a
roo. I bet with your cookin skills you can do something really nice with them.

I'll do the hatchet and scalding part. You help with the cleaning.

If you don't want to keep them you can put them on Craigslist.com. You'll
find someone to take them.

Patrick is ready to eat him but I just can't do it ... as annoying as the crowing can be. I found someone near me that will take him in a couple of weeks when he returns from his fishing trip...so better than in the pot...my neighbors will have to put up with the crowing for a little longer...thank goodness it's winter and the windows are closed!

This is a photo of our rooster "Sir Roo". He is suppose to be a Black from Sunnyside hatchery in WI. His "brothers" though were black with white bars. He wasn't only the prettiest of the three he was also the better mannered/tempered of the three, so he got the job and the others went into the soup pot.
