Help we have checked for mites and lice none to be found we have upped her protein and I do know we have 1 too many roosters and we are trying to rehome one of the roosters so the ratio goes back to a better ratio for or hens. But what could be causing her to loose all her feathers..??? Her whole underbelly is bare as well she is almost 2. Name GiGi

She’s just molting, give her plenty of protein and she’ll be fine.

She's molting. Happens every year.. try not to touch her because it's uncomfortable for them but completely natural.

Has she stopped laying eggs? It looks like Gigi is most likely molting, based on all her pin feathers. This time of year most chickens over 1 year old start to go through a molt. Her comb and wattles will probably start to shrivel up here soon.

During molt chickens can get a bit crabby and uncomfortable. They will need more protein in their diet to help regrow nice new feathers. I give mine some scrambled eggs and tuna every other day because they tend to not want to eat a lot (spoiled). But you can also just get them a higher protein feed.
