Orange and black bugs, Are they harmful to chickens?

These little guys started showing up one day and there’s quite a few in the garden. Has anyone seen these bugs before? Are they harmful to chickens?

Those are lady bug larvae, chickens can eat it, but if you have a garden save them and let them develop into lady bugs. Both stages of the bug eat aphids and mites.

Wow really? Just by looking at them, I would have never guessed they would be ladybug larvae. It’s good that they will do no harm to hens so I’ll let them stay. Thanks
