We just bought a home and the previous owner left her 2 chickens (silkies). We have never owned chickens and have only had them for a week. Today my sister picked one up and its back was damp and we noticed some very bright orange (not red) watery liquid on her shoes and pants. Not sure where it came from. Any ideas? Is this normal or is it sick?

Welcome To BYC

Can you take some photos of the poop and the chickens?

What do you feed?

Diet can affect the color of poop sometimes.
