Ordering from Sandhill Preservation

Hello All!

I am interested to know people's opinions on ordering from Sandhill. I would like to order an assortment of Orpington chicks from them for shipping later this coming spring. However, I have seen so many posts about people having to wait many many months for their orders to ship, that I am thinking maybe I am too late for this spring. Maybe I need to order in the fall for delivery in spring of 2017.

Anyway,I would appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks so much!!!!

I always order from them. The quality and strength of birds is amazing. To get birds from them you do need to be flexible on the ship date.... for me it is worth it. I have not ordered orfingtons from them thou.

I have ordered from them for a couple of years. I was not disappointed with the quality and health of the chicks. Yes, it does take a long time to get a confirmation, yes you have to order by snail mail no credit cards only check or money order, no, customer service is not their priority. The chicks I got from them are far superior to any I got from commercial hatcheries. Order and see where it goes.
