Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if someone has already made the community aware of this event, but, on Tuesday, OREGON senators will consider legislation (SB 805) to phase out the use of battery cages for egg-laying hens. If youre able, please attend the hearing in Salem on March 29 and show your support!
I think it would be great if people brought their pet chickens to the hearing (but maybe that's the troublemaker in me
).
I'll be there, anyway.

There's a bus to the event that leaves from Portland, and I think I saw some carpool information, as well.
Just trying to get the word out.
