I live in NW Georgia and wanted to feed my new flock organic. So two questions.
Is it worth it?
Where's the cheapest place to get it?
From what I've researched, it's through the roof expensive.

Do you eat organic? If it's worth it all depends on if it's worth it to you. I try to buy everything organic/GMO/soy free. So feeding our chickens quality feed is important and worthwhile to us.

I have found cheap organic feed from a local mill, but I don't use it because it has soy as an ingredient. So I order my feed from Azure Standard. But the local mill was like $30 for a 50lb bag of mash. So you might want to go that route.

Yes I do. That's a very good point. My local feed store said they could get it in for around $37, which in my opinion is better than buying online so the shipping cost doesn't tack on.
