I think you are right.....Garlic also kills bacteria and viruses. Makes my coop smell great! I am soooo thankful I found this. I have been adding garlic powder to a homemade mash as a supplement to my hens' diet. I figured they could use a little to fight off internal parasites and get some increased calories to make up for all the mite stress.
