I went to the store to get organic chick feed. I'm a newbie and I asked the worker where the organic CHICK feed is. She points to this bag and I buy it and they've been eating it for about a week with no issues. Today I notice it's not chick feed but poultry and livestock feed. My chicks are about 2 months old. Is this going to be harmful for them? They have access to grit, grass and bugs in our yard. Thanks in advance. The brand is organic pride and it's called "animal food." Approved for organic poultry as livestock.

From what I read, that is just how the bag looks. There should be a tag at the bottom of the bag that will specify what kind of feed it is, and the ingredients.

If you're able to post a photo of the feed tag, that would help.

The protein content should be listed on the bag. It should be around 18-20% protein for chicks.
