Does anybody use organic bedding for their chickens? Right now I'm just using regular straw but seeing as it's grown with pesticides I'd rather use something else now that my hens have started laying. They're sifting through it all the time and also laying in it and I'm worried about pesticide residues in the eggs (as well as the environmental impact of chemical farming practices). Do any of you know any sources of organic straw/other organic bedding I could use?
