did you follow the link and see that it ferments its feed for itself?

I saw it was described as a "large, dumpy bird" and thought "Oh, finally, something I can relate to."

I just saw our resident pair of red-shouldered hawks mating! They've been very active with their territorial displays and calls this past week or so, and I've seen the male carrying nesting materials!

I wish I got a picture or video, they were in a tree right at the end of our driveway, but it happened so quickly!

There may be some Krider's red-tails here, too. I saw a big white bird and a light brown bird with light belly and white tail, accompanied by juvenile red-tail calls (though I don't know if they were the ones making the calls).
