I got a buff orpington cockerel on accident but since I love them was actually looking forward to keeping him to breed. He is 16 weeks and is jumpy and bossy with the others. Will his bad behavior change or is he no good. I also got a black australorp too on accident and he is so sweet. He lets me pet him and is super chill. I would like to keep them both but I am skeptical of how the Orpington will turn out. For a breed that is supposed to be docile I sure have gotten some bossy orpingtons! Any insight would be appreciated!

Did you get him from a hatchery or a private breeder?

Hatchery roosters are often times more aggressive than typical breed characteristics, due to the way they are penned and bred (the more aggressive roosters have a better chance to pass on their genes to the breeding stock, and it’s a repetitive cycle for many generations). Hatchery stock is bred for egg production and color patterns that somewhat closely match the breed description.

Doesn't really matter where the bird came from, or how much sweetness and love is present, a 16wo male's hormone flow is just ramping up and there are only 2 things on his mind, dominance and sex.

Whether he'll 'get better' or not remains to be seen.
Multiple males can bring out all their worst behaviors due to competition.
That 'sweetness' is often assertive dominance that can turn into aggression in the blink of an eye.
A lot has to do with the keepers behaviors too, hard for a small child like the one I see in your avatar to understand, let alone employ...even adults often can't apply it.

Here is some tips that I highly suggest you read:

Thank you for the info aart. I guess I will just have to see how it goes. I am trying to anticipate his behavior because i have a good rooster currently but he is a mix so the orpington will work better for breeding purposes, but i dont want to get rid of a good rooster who never attacks my kid for a pure bred A-hole. I suppose i could construct a small "bachelor pad" coop until they get to an age where i can assess their behavior better. I had an attack rooster before and it wont happen again!

I've had lots of Orpington roosters I think they can calm down once they are a bit older but pretty soon you can see his main personality he might just have a dominant personality

I have one buff orps roo now who is great and is teaching my young Easter egger roo manners here's a video of it you can see the Orpington isn't mean just the boss
