Orpington suddenly seems agitated after bringing home new chicks

I'm going to disagree with previous advice. Yes she is likely broody. No she will likely not snap out of it in a few days. If that were the case there wouldn't be hundreds of threads on here asking how to break a broody. Broody is hormonal and seems contagious.

So. Don't hold your breath it will pass. Can you house chicks separate from the main flock for her to hatch and raise? Do you have fertile eggs? If not can you set her up privately and keep her happy and giver her day old chicks in 3 weeks? Again in a safe place away from threat of main flock hens. If none of this is appealing to you then you should break her for her own health.

She is separate from all chickens. We had an issue within the flock that we ended up separating her out. Also, the new chicks are also separated from the original flock in their own coop. We do not get fertile eggs, as far as I know. Our only rooster that we ended up with is a silkie. And I have read that it’s not very likely to be successful with the larger chickens. So we haven’t really paid much attention as to whether or not any egg is fertile. I did read about the day old chicks, and attempted it. She seemed to ignor them and pecked at one that tried to go under her wing. I watched for a while and didn’t feel she was taking a liking to it. So I pulled them out. But she has only been setting for 4 days at this point. Do I need to wait longer into the broody process?

I won't argue on the basis of broody length, as it seems we've all had our own experience, was just giving advice i though helpful to someone who is new to the practice.
Good luck with your hen, hope she does well!

I would. I think most people on here would lean towards the 21 day mark. Others have said that chickens can't tell time.
