Orpington x Wyandotte?

Hi there,
I think I have a splash Orpington rooster, he is still young and looks like a hen but tail feathers are giving it away. If he is a boy, and he bred with my four girls, how do the genetics work in terms of lacing and colour? I have a black and a blue Orpington as well as a silver and gold laced Wyandotte. I also have two littlelies, a speckled Sussex and a lavender Sussex so not sure if sex. Curious to know what any future chicks would look like.

The last one... splash Orpington . Tail looks like a rooster. He/she is six months old

I think I see pointy saddle feathers. Now I see what you're saying, looks like a roo.

Splash bred to black will yield blue chicks. Blue bred to splash would yield blue chicks and splash chicks. You'd probably get blue laced blue chicks by crossing him to your Wyandottes, possibly incomplete lacing (still pretty to look at), maybe some gold leakage from the glw chicks.

My partner reckons he’s heard him crow but I’m still doubtful

Thank you, sounds like some cute babies!! I’ve had a look at that tool before and could t work it out. I’ll be very happy if I get blue lacing!
