If I had any doubt what ever, I would quarantine for a few days.
Sort of a where did they come from question?

But you can mix breeds. They will find a pecking order just fine.

If you get your breeds from the same place at the same time - you can skip the quarantine. If you already have an established flock and now are adding new ones - by all means DO quarantine.
