Oh I'm with you! I also love Oscar-time! In fact, awards season in general is one of my favorite times of year. I love to see what they're wearing on the red carpet. I'm a home-body, and the closest I come to being "trendy" is soaking up all the fashion and glam of awards season. LOVED Helena Bonham Carter at the Globes with her mis-matched outfit... truly innovative and only SHE could pull it off. Nobody else could have done that.
I have yet to see most of this year's nominated movies, but I have been dying to see The King's Speech since I saw the first preview about 2 months ago. True Grit is at the top of my list, as well as Black Swan. I know it's not nominated and probably isn't even still in the theaters, but I want to see the new Tron movie, too.
