OT-Wanted, "Free-to-Air" Satellite Receiver

DH is looking for digital FTA satellite receiver for the big dish that was in place when we bought our house a few years ago. If you have a working one you'd like to get rid of, speak up!

hmmm so you want FTA. now thats something i do know a lot about .. but we dont use ares on the big dish... if you PM me i can give you some info on this

you can get a pansat 2500 on ebay pretty cheap

This is Spec's DH.. Do you use the 3 foot dish? and do you need a special LNB? Which receiver do you use. I currently have a real big dish and C/Ku left here by the previous owner. Since everything went digital all my FTA is basically gone, so I'd like to get back into the swing of things.

All I have is a directv dish. oh well I can play frisbee with it lol.
