My 2 y/o R&R hen was hiding under the bushes on Saturday and not eating, her crop felt lumpy. She "pigged out" on darkling mealworm beetles the night before.
I gave her some calcium & oil (2 tums in yogurt and 2cc of coconut oil) and she stayed in the chicken condo for the night with the door open.
On Sunday morning I found she had laid this egg and back to normal. This isn't the first time she's displayed this behavior.
Any thoughts and/or solutions?
