Sweet Sally Sue is a Cayuga we rescued back in November. We had to bring her inside because those darn Pekin drakes tried to kill her. It looked like they literally tried to rip her eyeballs out of her head. She couldn't even see they were so swollen and we thought she may have lost the right eye but when it started to heal, the eye was there. She is no longer allowed in with the Pekins, even though she wants to be with them.

Here's pics of our Sweet Sally Sue. At 8 yrs old, Sally still give us eggs 3 times a week!

I have a 2 y/o cayuga girl and i cant wait till she starts turning white! I know, thats years down the road but still! they are just so pretty!

I had no idea what kind of duck she was. The woman who we got her from didn't know either. She just said she was all black when she was a duckling. I started doing research I realized she was a Cayuga. Her eggs are no longer black or grey but they're very waxy, nothing like my Pekins.

I have two of her eggs in the incubator right now. They'll be Cayuga/Pekin crosses. I can't wait until they hatch!!!!!

Sally Sue is such a sweet sweet girl. She's the only Cayuga I have.
