Our 8x8 Chicken Coop Design

Hi BYC Friends! A couple of years ago my husband was bouncing around this community and got tremendous inspiration for how to design and build our current chicken coop.

We just wanted to post some photos and give you all a huge THANK YOU! We wouldn’t have known where to start without you great people sharing your projects, inspiration, and good advice!

*Our design is heavily used, a tad rough around the edges, and quite practical. Hopefully at some point, I will find extra time in the day to polish and tidy things up, BUT, it works for us!

I like the ventilation up high. But don't need the shutters. Those should stay open all yr.
Ladies definitely look like there enjoying there home.
