Our Blue Swedish Ducklings Donald & Daisy

These are our first set of Ducklings ever. We believe we have 1 female and 1 male but we're not sure. Lets hope we're right since their names are Donald & Daisy. They were born on Feb 14th 2015 (Valentines Day babies) and we got them when they were 2 weeks old, they are now going to be 7 weeks in a couple days. I would love to know more about their breed, they are Blue Swedish Ducks.

Our little Donald is the Darker one and our Daisy is the lighter one <3

They're "blue". That means 1/2 are blue, 1/4 light and 1/4 dark, in my experience- The colors are not sex linked.

Aww your ducks are so adorable, I can't wait to see how my babies will look when they get older. I did have a question, my duckling are still a bit skittish especially my Donald he is such a cry baby is this normal behavior for ducklings?

Ducks are not as easily socialized to humans as chickens, but try holding some scrambled egg in your hand every time you approach them...

Scrambled eggs wow I never heard about that. So far I've been giving them peas here and there and the other day my husband put the ducks in the bathtub with a bunch of little fish and they had a blast. But I will try the Scrambled eggs when I approach them, thanks a lot @Bert2368
