I don't have photos right now, but will take some soon. We are getting some nesting boxes from my nephew. He has lots of chickens and built a new area, so I got these. They're nice! They're in sections. One section is 6 boxes, and one is 2. We have to build a hen house now. I decided on having a floor. My Hubby is getting an area out front for all this. That way in the winter I won't have to run way out back to feed'em and get eggs. My girls are doing great!

Will be back to share pics as we do things.

Abby our blue heeler pup, is a big help. She's been helping as my Husband builds a base for the hen house. My BD is this Friday, so I told him he has til then to have it done. Lol.. May not happen, but it does need to happen soon.

Thank you Ron. She's a good girl, but has destroyed many items on her way to growing up. Lol.. She's a bit better now, but we still watch her. She's been known to destroy a new toy in less than a minute. Those hard tire-like toys are the only ones, and kongs, are the only ones that half way survive.

Well, it's coming along but rain last week slowed it a lot. To a halt for a bit. It's going to be 70 today so when my Hubby get home, he;ll continue. I'm sure looking forward to the chicks being outside! He's putting landscaping timbers down {still needs to do the one side, then will put 3/4" exterior plywood down on it. As you can see, Abby is helping by removing her toy from the floor.

Ok,

Here's hoping the coop is done THIS weekend!
The chicks are huge and I'm tired of them being inside. Between no time, and rain, it's not done yet!

The front part is going to slant-down a bit and the door I come through will be on the left, and the chicken's door on the right. Guess we need to go get some more materials. Ok, it won't let me upload any pics right now. I will when I can.

Ok, jumping ahead. Here's the coop! We have a lot of fenced in grassy area for the girls to roam in. Actually we made the pens so we can close of 3 sections, to let them re-grow if needed.

And here's the girls having a good time, being chickens!

All the pens have tops on them, so Hawks, etc. can't get them.
