Not sure if we should worry, but our EE found a rather thick rubber band in the compost pile and decided to eat it. We tried to get it away before she swallowed, but down it went. It was one of those smaller thick bands that are around asparagus bundles from the store...

Will she pass it? Should we worry?

Uh Oh! Bouncy eggs.

Now watch and see her eggs bounce when she lays.

Rubber eggs are great for hand tosses but not the skillet.

Just having a little fun. She'll likely be just fine. Yes she will pass it out. Chickens will eat things like this from time to time.

Wish ya the best.

Actually my coworkers were making jokes about it too..

She is only four months old...so no eggs yet, but we are newbs at chicken raising and I thought they knew better about what they should eat.

Problem is, we probably made it worse by chasing her and she must have thought she had something GOOD so decided to swallow it...

geesh! thanks for the reply!
