My brother was the same way. We never knew what he was bringing home. I would be rich too if I got $ for every reptile brought into the house and then got lost.

That's neat that your child is interested in them!
It's nice to know that kids are still finding snakes to bring home. I don't want to know when it DOESN'T happen anymore....

Sorry for hi jacking this thread but it reminded me of the time that my daughter was looking for a shoe

looked under her brother's bed

smelled something

saw a metal box

opened it up

a dead bird (mummified) was int it

DS says he was going to take it to school for show and tell

Thank goodness he forgot.

He was in 1st grade at the time.

I swear I have seriously had nightmares about snakes loose in my house

Of course it wouldn't last long with 5 Jack Russells in the house

I bet those jack russels would take care of any loose snake in your home. LOL My niece said my ferret would probably get ours. Maybe, I do think she would try and play with one anyway.

that's neat that you have pet snakes. I would love one or two, if my husband would allow it. He's petrified of snakes, though. Some people are snake people, and some aren't. And some (me) are okay if wild snakes are not loose in the house. LOL
