We found our hen this morning well what was left of her. I found her drug to the end of our backyard her body is gone all was left is a pile of her feathers. No blood just one peice of bloody meat.

What killed her? I live in eastern kentucky I have only had dogs kill my chickens before and they just mangle their bodies and leave them.

The rest of my chickens are caged in runs and coops and one of my roosters had a pile of his butt feathers riped out no blood just a neat pile of his butt feathers pulled out.

Will it come back and what should I do to make sure noone eles gets eaten?

Sorry to hear this sad news. My guess is that it probably will come back. make sure they are all lock up safe. I would wait for it's return or get an electric fence!

me and my kids are very upset. We didn't even get to hatch any of her babies

Her eggs are not fertile.

Today my goal is to go out and make sure everything is strong.

Could it have been a bob cat?

Here is some pictures I took:

That's exactly what is left when the racoons kill the wild games in my yard. It will be back. Secure all of your animals in sturdy pens with strong wire with small holes/openings. Racoons are known for tearing thru chicken wire, and pulling birds body parts through wire. Make sure whatever pen you put them in at night doesn't have large holes and is made of strong wire, like hardware cloth. Or, bring the chickens into a garage in a box at night until you can get the pens fixed up enough to resist the racoon.
